I am really dissapointed

I have been playing this game for over 4 years now and I got 60 right when TBC launched, leveled to 70 and started raiding in t4, and became raid leader for 3 different guilds in t5.

The subject of "ninja looting" has always been touchy in Blizzards books, but they have always been very good with mis-assigned loot and mistakes with master looter.

Apparently recently they changed their stance on this. I was raiding ICC25 and the ML accidently looted a belt to a mage instead of me after he didnt see my winning role. He immediately appologized and asked the mage to give me the belt. The mage, being the **@%#*! he is, decided to not give me the belt and instead keep it (openly admitting that he was taking it and it wasnt his to take). Me and the RL just both put in tickets and condisered the matter done.

After almost 3 days of waiting I got a response, I was absolutely confused out of my mind when they said nothing had gone wrong in their book. I immediately opened another ticket and was connected to a GM.

I explained everything that had happened to the GM and after a 30 minute conversation I was told that Blizzard WILL NOT help in this situation EVEN IF "24/25 members including the ML put tickets in". I am not sure when they changed this policy because the same thing happened to me only a few weeks ago in VoA and I had my item within 24 hours.

The item itself does not make me mad, the fact that the mage is getting away with such a disgusting act is the reason as of today I am canceling my accounts and plan to move on to another game that has more respect for its customers and can punish those that decide to act out of the boundaries of the "Spirit of the game".

After 4 years,
Goodbye, Regent
