Cataclysm guild Beta contest

I was hoping the topic might actually inspire a blue to read this. Rest assured, it is not about Real ID.

No clarification has been given as to when the winners of guild beta invites will be announced. There are 16 pages asking for this information, and nary a blue response. Using the appropriate forum channels and e-mails to customer service as described in the contest rules have not resulted in any responses from Blizzard.

If you have no intention of answering these questions, why not simply lock the thread after you make the announcement?

We've not yet decided whether or not a full list of winners will be published online, but is it something that we are discussing.

While winners may or may not be announced online, they will be contacted via email to receive their beta invites. To my knowledge, though, no beta invites for weekly contest winners have been distributed yet.

As I noted above, contest winners will be notified by email, but these notifications have not yet been sent. We are still accepting submissions at this time and will continue to due so through the noted deadline of July 12. Not all winners have been selected, so you indeed still have a chance to win!
