are, IMO, probably worth at least as much as ''skill'' or ''achievement'' or ''GS''

My main, a mage, have been raiding with the same core group each thursday since January 2009. I maybe missed five raids out of that time, usually during christmas time. There have been high and lows, of course (but we are 11-12 ICC, 5 Hardmodes). The fact that I raided for so long with them, and being a somewhat skilled negotiator allowed me to do pretty nice things.

1)Get easily for my mage a Kinslayer title
2)Obtain at least 4 BOEs for my Priest and Tank at like half price of AH
3)Manage to get my one week old, completely unskilled, ungeared and newbie Huntress into a reg ICC 25 group, at least for first wing (Meh, it's a start. But it's something, considering I mentionned upfront that I don't know how to play her)
4)Convince the raid leader of my mage group to let me come on my Warrior on Professor Putricde 25 man until I get the tank weapon-and I can need the 264 marks too !)

Well, I enjoyed your post anyway. Even when in groups with random people, I've found that the qualities you've listed go a long way. Sure, skill and good gear are extremely important, but being a friendly, patient, and diplomatic player can really help one to build new friendships and ultimately have greater access to group content. :)
