Wants me to pick a character to post n and it has none listed even though I did transfer one over sucessfully.

You mentioned that you have transferred a character over, Mcgavin, have you logged into that character yet? It may very well need more time to update the character list, but logging into the character can help expedite the beta forums in picking up the character.
