Hello.

It's with extreme sadness that i write these lines. I left wow for a couple of months... And 4 days ago i wanted to go back. After having an unauthorized authenticator in my account removed by support, i started playing again. After 3 days, i got permanently banned. I sent an email as suggested by Blizzard and i'm waiting for an answer. My account name is <removed>. If anyone can help with this issue please do so, because i have played this game for more than 4 years and dedicated a lot of my life/money to it. There is no way i would start using hacks or illegal programs after 4 years paying to play Wow.

Thank you for your time.

This was security locked for your protection, Bänned.

They need confirmation from you that your security has been taken care of - and know that it's really you and not the person that stole your account trying to reclaim it.

You should have received and email with instructions, but at this point - this is the pertinent part.
Q u o t e:

STEP 2: RECOVER THE ACCOUNT
We now provide a secure website for you to verify that you have taken the appropriate steps to secure the account, your computer, and your email address. Please go to this site and follow the instructions:
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/securitywebform

If you've done that recently, it's a matter of it being processed. If you haven't yet - please do return the information requested in the webform so this can be unlocked.

Thanks!

Well, I'm not certain why I'm not seeing your first submission, but this one just came through.

You should have access again with your latest password.

That would be mainly because that wasn't the issue in the beginning, Bänned.

Compromises can be rather straight-forward, or they can get a bit complex. It really depends a lot on what was done. This was one that had multiple complications.

I do apologize for any frustration or confusion this has caused.

Oh goodness, I wouldn't touch that - at least for a LONG time.

If they did a RAF with your account, it's most likely setup under a stolen credit card.

When that owner reclaims it, well, you don't want any repercussions on yourself.
