Gametime purchased on Blizzard Store

Hello. I have a question that I feel only a Blizzard employee could effectively answer. I intend to purchase gametime on the Blizzard store (http://us.blizzard.com/store/details.xml?id=110000004) as a gift next month, however I need to know a few things first.

First off, will the code that gets sent to my friend ever expire? This is very important because they may or may not be able to use it right away. It could take some time, actually.

Second off, can I include a personal message in the gift e-mail? This isn't as important as the expiration thing, but it'd be nice!

I apologize if this isn't the appropriate place for such a question.
