Trial account with wotlk?

I've recently(yesterday) been invited for a second account by a friend so we could try out Recruit-a-friend. I figured since I had an 80 and tons of heirloom items I'd switch over that toon to this new account so my lowbies can use triple and have the power of the heirlooms.

I now have 20+ heirlooms on a toon that can't use the mail box since somehow the account is still considered a trial account. I spent $150+ to get my account to a point where the time I put into the game might actually be worth it, and I'm on day 2 with a "trial account" even though I have a level 80 DEATH KNIGHT and full wrath of the lich king(not just trial version) added to the account.

Hoping I get some actual help with this, it's ticking me off a bit that after $150 and 2 years of paying for world of warcraft subscription, I'm actually getting this shabby service.

I'm afraid that mail, chat, and trade restrictions will remain on the account for up to 72 hours following the online upgrade from a trial to a standard account, regardless of whether or not you purchase other expansions. I sincerely apologize for any confusion, but you'll be able to fully access the game within the next 72 hours. Thank you for your patience.
