Blizz GM whispering me?

Well i just got back into playing wow today after a year and i was just questing and a whisper shows up saying that i have committed so type of "violation" and if i don't take care of it soon they will ban me from wow. So when i got the message i wasn't looking for the little blizz logo to the left that i am now aware of so im not sure if it was a scam or the real deal. Also the whisper contained a url for the blizzard support site and told me to enter my info to fix the problem or something im not sure what is going on. Thanks for all your help

If WE every message you ingame or send you an ingame email it WILL have a blue Blizzard logo next to our name, or on the email.

Anything else is an attempt to scam you out of your account, please right-click that player's name and report spam immediately so it gets tended to as quickly as possible.

If you actually WENT to the website they asked you to, please, immediately scan your system for malware and then change your password - in that order.
