The Official: I'm a long time poster quitting

Who else is not going to be posting on the forums anymore? Of course there are people who argue that it is just your first and last name. However to me and evidently many others, that makes it a lot more personal than I am comfortable with when posting on online forums.

Think about the fact that when potential employers and anyone Google's your name from now on they're going to be linked to posts you've made about World of Warcraft.

Sure this isn't a problem for people with popular names, but for a lot of people it is.

I would love to hear some long time posters and Community MVPs opinions.

Creating redundant threads concerning the our recent Real ID announcement is something we are trying to deter because it is much easier to keep up with those discussions (and various points of view) when they are condensed into one focused location.
