So forums will now have real ID, apparently mostly to avoid trolling. I have a concern about it that has nothing to do with privacy or what not, but with the use of these forums, which I fear might die out with this change:

Sucessful forums such as this one are such because lots of people post in them, wich makes it so there's lots of ideas and the conversations are quick (as oposed to those forums where only like 8 people post and the discussion advances at a rate of one post a week) and dynamic.

The problem is lots of people who want anonimity will stop posting which will diminish the ammount of posters, and then there's people such as trolls or the like who usually come here for joke threads and such but keep the forums active, and ocationally when they see an interesting thread they post constructivelly in it, who would also stop posting making the forums less dynamic, and there's other categories of people who would stop posting for other various reasons including, par example, the loss of immersion in the RP forums (It's so less immersive when you know that male orc warrior's name is Katherine).

The consequence with this is the forums would become less dynamic, and being less dynamic people would post less making it progressivelly less dynamic untill it loses the critical mass of posters needed for it to be an enjoyable forum and ends up being only visited by a few and lose all what is good about it.
