hi, ive been playing world of warcraft off and on (mostly on) for about 5 years now. i once had an account when i started playing vanilla that i remember. i know the account name but the password was changed and the email i used have both been forgotten. i have game cards used during the time the account was active, i dont believe i have my original cd key, (as i have bought a new wow which i currently play). but i want my old account back especially to help my other friends play so they dont need to spend 500$ to start :D. please help ive done a lot of research and it does seem contacting "Account and Billing" is the best option but idk. figured id ask. also me and my friends have sent many emails saying basically this and with no reply or help. and the last 2 times ive called Blizzard i get a machine telling me theyre busy. i also have to original credit card used to start the account, it seems ive got everything but what blizzard will accept please GM's tell me im wrong k thanks :)

hhahahahaha well first off i wasnt writing an essay or an exam paper, i was giving all the information i could. also why would you waste your time trashing my thread for no reason your information wasnt useful helpful or in anyway integral to me getting what i want. as for not being able to share accounts? false its my account i can do with it what i please as long as i dont infringe on copyrights etc, if i want to loan my password to my best-friend, so be it. it just isnt wise to do so because you can get your password into the wrong hands. so thanks but nty newb pwn own loser.

Uhhh, no.

You are NOT allowed to transfer, gift or even allow any other person onto an account in your name.

Contacting Billing would be the only way to recover access to this at this point, be prepared to confirm your identity and it may even require submitting some documentation. Billing will be able to tell you what is required in your case.

Hmm funny whos paying you? your boss who gets paid in part by my monthly payments. so dont tell me what i can and cant do with MY account, if i want my friends to play my account while i am away so i dont get behind in raids and levels, then i should and am able to. try to stop me.

Every player agrees to the Terms of Use when installing WoW and with every update.

The only person allowed access is the person whose name the account is under.

Looks like you just had a first hand view via a guild bank compromise how risky account sharing can be when anyone but yourself has access.

Account sharing is an actionable offense and could potentially result in an account being closed.

LMFAO this is hilarious honestly. you believe i post in trade my account info just to spite blizzard? no retard i share it with my friends so they can play and enjoy the game without spending ridiculous amounts of money and time to purchase a game that is so easily hacked into often and repeatedly. not to mention this "compromise" has nothing to do with my account info sharing or alleged account sharing. because i have been doing this since vanilla and havent been compromised until recently. NEWB LOL

Account sharing is a rules violation, Gwarg.

That is not YOUR account, that is OUR account and there is an agreement you digitally sign as to how it can be used.

Once anyone else has your information you've lost control completely over where and when and how that information may be used.

As I suspect you are now just trolling, please desist if you'd like to retain your posting privileges on these forums.

Thank you.
