Yeah so last week my account got hacked and I was locked out due to the hacker placing an authenticator on my battlenet.com account.I followed the steps that blizzard provided online as far as what to do when hacked.
This morning I get an email from a gm stating that my account is currently now in the restoration process(yaaay). Also that I should check ingame mail for restored items.
Sounds great one thing thought that authenticator requirement is still up on my account.
So my question is will blizzard disable that for me so that I'm able to log in with just my password?
and also if I've ordered an authenticator from blizz store, will I able to use it to unlock it so that I may be able to log in again?
I know I need to be patient and all but arrgh this frustrating lol

Thanx

That should be gone, Teisa. Do make sure you are using your latest password. During a compromise investigation, that will get reset at least once, and possibly multiple times.

Well got some progress I can now log into my battlenet.com account, however I still have the required field to enter authenticator code on WoW ingame login screen, am I able to disable that on through my battlenet account?

Do you have the save account name box checked?

If so, that's going to be there till you log in the first time. You may need to reset your UI if it persists and restart WoW.

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.

More detailed instructions for different operating systems, including Macs are here.
