Meow?

So, let's say Ruby Sanctum goes live today (theoretically), what exactly do you plan to do? Will you rush in, or are you the more cautious calculating type?

From what I've seen/been told by a few RL friends, it's almost a joke on normal 25. So bumrush it and then /facepalm Heroic next week. >_>

It's not meant to be more difficult than Icecrown Citadel, it will though, tie in nicely (story wise *hint hint*) with the coming Cataclysm and hopefully, be a fun encounter for everyone.

Well I hoped that it'd be atleast somewhat challenging being that is drops 271's. Glad to see that the HM version is a PITA, free 284's are bad.

I wouldn't discount the encounter as easy or free without trying it for yourself. When listening to others speak of their own experiences, it's easy to miss the details such as their gear, the gear of others with them, their skill level as a team and ability to work well as a team etc. There are always the bleeding edge players at the top that cut through content quickly, but those are not the rule. In the end though, while having a challenge is great (which this should still be), having a fun challenge is better.

It's easy to get swept up in the idea of not doing something because someone else already has, or devaluing something because someone else has voiced their opinion about it, but experiencing something for yourself will always trump that and give you the best possible perspective of all... your own.

I am going to go outside. Cook out on my grill, sit on my deck and ENJOY my 24 hour server downtime :D

What are you cooking and can I come over?

Theoretically speaking, is it not your job (as a blizzard employee) to give we the people some insight on the release of the raid, rather than just slap people across the face and say, "You ain't ready"? Considering patch notes told me to come to these forums BY LINK for more information on the release of the raid, should we not obtain some knowledge by doing thus?

More information will be here when it's time to share said information.
Timing is everything.
I do not slap and left my glove at home.

even though I don't think the guy should have came across as like that, he does make a good point. its a little misleading to come here from a link you guys posted for no actual information on the release.

There's nothing really misleading going on other than us continuing to say that we'll let you all know once it's open. It's not open yet, but it will be at some point in the near future. When it is open, you will see it announced in several locations including the front website and here in the forums.
