The Real ID System in the forums

The RealID is not a bad thing. In fact, I think it's a very good idea. One of the theories behind it is, on the internet, people are mean or rude to others because they know that the other person will never find out who they really are. They have a wall to hide behind.
With RealID on the forums the wall goes away. People can see who you really are and hopefully that can stop some of the trolls, flamers, ect.
An argument made againts the RealID system is that people don't want others to se who they really are. If you havn't done anthing wrong it shouldn't matter if people can see who you really are or not.
Others say they don't want people to see who they are and get their phone number or address. If that information was already on the internet you are no bigger a target now by posting on the WoW forums than before, unless you start trolling or flaming people.
One last argument people make againts this system, is that they don't want people to find out they play WoW. For those people you should ask yourself why people knowing that you play a video game would effect you. If you really want to keep it secret though nobody is making you post on the forums. There are other ways to contact blizzard and get help. E-mail, phone, and even in-game tickets. It may not be as easy but you take sacrafices when you choose to play in secret.
All-in-all, I'm glad and can't wait for the RealID system
