RealID on the Forums -- Very Real Concern

Over the years of playing this game and generally being involved with it, i have determined that you guys pretty much do whatever you want and see how it works out. Thats fine. Most of the time you guys know whats best and it will either work out for the better or it fails and you fix it. No big deal, its just a game.

For this change I am not going to write a bulleted list on why you should not do it, or whine and moan about how i don't like it, or even make up things that can happen with people knowing my real name (i searched my real name on Facebook, there were over 100 results).

The only thing i am concerned about is the ease of access to this very extensive list of real names. Many people or organizations out there do not care if a name is one person or another, it is still a name. And you are basically forming a list for them. What could they do with this list? I am not too sure. As i said, it is just a concern.

(TLDR) What I am proposing is this: Make the Forums able to be read only after a person has logged in. This way, if someone wants to come to the Forums to get thousands of names, they at least need to go through the trouble of making a trial account and logging in.
