Real ID questions

I have a couple of questions I would like to see answered but the sticky seems like a place where my questions would just get burried.

How long before individual character names are gone and we are all using our real life names to play WoW?

Why was our billing account info used as our Real ID instead of an alias?

Should I expect to be using my Real ID info to play Starcraft 2?

What options should I be selecting to cancel my account if I want to list Real ID as the reason? (I ask only because I can’t find the option for security concerns.)
