Blizzard: Clarification on RealID & old posts

Blizzard-

Would you please clarify if the first and last names associated with old posts will override the current character posts once your RealID tagging in your official forums goes live? If this is to be the case, have you planned a system to (upon the account holder's request) purge out all old posts on that account?

I understand that RealID is optional. I further understand that posting on the official forums is optional. I can live with the fact that you plan to require the RealID first & last name to be displayed if you want to post (I simply will opt out of posting on the forums when this change goes live). I have not, however, given Blizzard the permission to hand out personal data via a publicly accessable website. As such, I want to know if steps are being taken to insure my personal information will be protected (via the deletion of past posts or the continued use of my character name in past posts) if I never opt to post on the forums once this change goes live.

Thank you for your time.
