Well, two days ago I went to the bathroom and when I returned I noticed that my characters were gone. Nevertheless I figured out one of my younger siblings had deleted them while I was away from the computer because I made the mistake of leaving it on. This was done over a recent feud between us as a way to enact revenge on me. As stupid as it sounds this was my fault and I know I should have logged off before I went away from the computer.

The next morning, when I found out what happened I opened a GM ticket and properly explained what happened and provided the correct information for the restoration of my two characters. Being level 80 and over 3 years spent on these characters there is no way I wish to re-roll a new one, not a chance. It's been over 48 hours since I opened the petition to restore my characters and still it says that there are a lot of petitions being sent in.

i know there was a new patch just recently and this is to be expected but I feel cases like mine should take precedence over in-game related bugs and issues. Having limited time to play I feel like 2 days lost is a big deal and I'm sure others would too if this situation happened to them. All I'm asking is for my characters to be returned not some extensive time wasting favor from Blizzard. I had a character restored over a year ago and all it took was a 15 minute wait and another 3 to talk to the GM before it was completed, compared to back then at the present time the ticket system is a joke if people are waiting days on end to get something so simple resolved.

My frustration has gone above annoyed at this point, if I have to wait another 48 hours I will probably just delete World of Warcraft from my computer and move on to something else, if you can't count on support what's the point of entrusting your time to this game only to have it erased in seconds.

I'm not certain what Activision has to do with anything. We continue to hire more staff and work to improve our ability to help our players, that hasn't changed at all. How Blizzard is run has changed very little in fact and has have nothing to do with the merge.

What has changed is that we received a fairly large number of new and returning players, coupled with the increasing number of issues that we try to help with it has simply led to a fairly large number of issues that take time to resolve.

It should be pointed out that non-compromise issues are currently taking around 4-5 days, including most restoration requests. We do prioritize some issues, Reallysad, but mostly petitions are taken in the order they have been received.

Hang in there, we'll get to your request as quickly as we can.
