REPORTING SPECIAL CASE OF RACISM

OK guys. just wondering if a blue can Help me here. is it possbile for me to get banned myself for reporting someone?? for example.. this guy aggravated me by calling me bad so i called him a kid nerd virginclown but then he called me a !%!!. so that is racism.. i can report taht and get him a 3 or 6 hour ban?? without getting in trouble myself right? that's what i think cuz a mage Cussed me out and i cussed him out too and i got banned so i doubt he did. so the reporter is automatically safe and immune?

Let me rephrase your question a bit to clarify this for you.

"Someone broke the rules, so I broke them as well - right back at him, am I going to get in trouble?".

See the issue here?

Someone else breaking our TOS doesn't give license to do so yourself. I know interactions like this can be frustrating, but /ignore is far better than a retort.
