Faction Change and Racial Items

So I faction transferred my paladin from Horde to Alliance. I had the Blood Knight tabard on my pally before I went over, and it switched to a guild tabard. I will be going back to the Horde side, but have I lost my tabard for good?

I didn't even think of it beforehand, and had a /facepalm moment afterwards.

We should be able to restore it, Saernity. If you swap back simply submit an in-game petition and request that the item be restored. Make sure you mention that it was lost when you originally faction changed and is rewarded from the quest True Masters of the Light.
