Q u o t e:
I still cannot get through to Customer Service on the phone. I have tried multiple times today. Are there any customer service agents reading here?
Yes, Sephorah, but you do not need Customer Service Reps, you need Billing and Account Service Reps, which is what the number you have been calling reaches. Customer Service Reps are Game Masters who address in-game support issues.
Q u o t e:
He started the 10-day trial and bought the full version of wow, which gave him an additional 30 days free. For some reason, on my battle.net account, it shows that our accounts are linked, but is still saying he is in the 10-day trial, even though that was well over a month ago.
The only account I see currently linked to this one is a Recruit a Friend trial account which is also attached to your Battle.net account. My best guess is that you sent an invitation to your friend who then checked their mail on the same computer you were logged in on. When they clicked on the link inside the invitation a Recruit a Friend trial account was attached to the Battle.net account that was logged in at the time.
When your friend purchased the game he likely created a new Battle.net account and attached his regular account to it. Given the time frame involved I am not certain what can be done to retroactively link the accounts but Billing will be able to give you the options.
Unfortunately there are a very large number of people attempting to get through, please keep trying, Billing Reps are clearing those calls out as quickly as they can by helping those who contact them. Sometimes it is just a matter of timing on getting in.
Good luck, Sephorah.
