One benefit of Real ID

Sure, we won't be able to hide behind any fake identities anymore, but at least we can say goodbye to people acting comfortably obnoxious behind their even more anonymous low-level troll avatars.

The phenomenon of being a complete jerk online is not confined to WoW. Making people more accountable for how they treat others online is a necessary development. It should and will happen universally.

The fact that such a great number of posters here have shown how much they cherish the ability to harass and embarrass others is a sad commentary on our values.
