Last night (about 24 hours ago) my account was hacked into and an authenticator added without my consent. I cannot log in now. Minutes after this happened i notified blizzard using the online webform, and my wife notified a GM online.

I am patiently and anxiously awaiting a response, meanwhile my characters have all been stripped and guild banks emptied.

Please let me know how if there is anything else I can do. So far i have rerun my virus scanner which turned up nothing, I have also been able to reset my battle.net password but since an authenticator (that is not mine) is attached I cannot log in.

Let me bring you up to date on this, Rojak. This has been reported, so it's in line for a restoration investigation, the authenticator was also removed. You should have access with your latest password.

Now, how they got your information is going to be vital to this not recurring. Finding the source of that is key to preventing a repeat.

This sticky may be useful.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
