Real Id(iotic) idea

So just as an experiment to see how this whole real first and last name on the forums would effect me and my friends who play wow I went on facebook and searched for the exact name that would come up as our real IDs.... one of my friends comes up with around 800 results. that's not bad.

another comes up with 88. still not terrible, but getting close.

Mine comes up with 15... 15 other people who are have my name combination on facebook. that's pretty bad. that's only 14 other people standing between me and a potential stalker/harassment case/vicious murder because I killed them in pvp and posted about it on the forums. (and yes thats probably over exaggerated for most people... but look at the crazy bastards we HAVE in this world... someone would do it with enough provocation)

My other friend (who is someone who loves to taunt others when they piss him off or when he kills them in pvp) is the ONLY ONE ON FACEBOOK WITH HIS NAME COMBINATION. This is a frightening fact....

If this were to happen and he (or any of the other people out there with unique names) posted ANYTHING on the forums and someone wanted to find him guess what would happen? they would. In minutes. This is the worst idea you morons could ever come up with.. I've been a faithful blizzard fan for years but this is over the top.

And to all you people who have fairly common names, I really hope that you enjoy being on the forums when there's 10% of the people left and you STILL have trolls. Really, enjoy it. Because I'm gonna be laughing my ass off.

Screw you guys and your moronic ideas. Oh and just so you know the more times you lock/delete valid complaints about this system the more people you're going to piss off, and get to drop your sorry ass company (I never used to feel this way about you guys... I guess its true ""Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men"... your company used to be a good, friendly, customer privacy driven one too...)
