So, since "soon" all and everybody's real life names will be posted on the forums, I might as well just go ahead and add everybody to my Real ID in game right? So what's the point.
I mean I can see where the flaming, trolling and bashing on the forums becomes a problem but really unless you're a real hardcore forum reader and responder most of us don't even read the stupid snide comments that trolls make in other posts. They get deleted fast, or the initial topic doesn't even interest us enough to scroll down and read everyone else comments/flames.
Either that or we're in game when the servers are up. So we aren't even worried about the forums.
Also, what about the Recruitment forums? Server forums? Seems a bit weird putting up a guild recruitment post using your real name. All this is going to cause is trade chat to be bombarded with even more non-sense, people calling each out by real name in trade chat, bashing, name calling. Not that it bothers me personally but you know how some people can be, getting offended easily.
Also (And this borderlines just being stupid and not knowing how to protect your stuff) but what about kids on the servers, their real name gets posted, some pervert takes their name.....hops in game finds the kids toon "So, where do ya live? I live in such and such" Pervert takes name, goes to Facebook/Myspace, searches for said kid. Then you have a whole slew of issues going on.
But any way, before it becomes a crit of text here, you guys can steal my identity if you want....... but I wouldn't advise it. Trust me, you do not want to be me.
