The first friend is not too technically minded.. so he's not sure if he messed up. (but he did spend over an hour with technical support getting back on to his account for some reason). The second is his son. Who waited for the scroll... as he knew the problems and loss of the rewards when his dad signed on.
In the end the scrolls I sent were both lost in these technical problems to get them back online. Both are now playing again now... in the same guild and on my friends list.
My emails to support have been met with did they do this or that.. I don't know. I wasn't there.
I have tried to call support but like many others... can't seem to find that magic milli-second to call and not be hung up on because of high volumes of calls.
So here is my beef. Where is my rewards? --> two free months.
I sent the scrolls. Talked about playing wow... got them re-bitten with the wow addiction... and they reactivated their accounts. Both made chars on same server I use (Different then when they played before). Both in same guild ... on friends list.
Whatever technical problems Blizzard seems to be having with reactivating old accounts... I don't care. They are not my problem. I did what I needed to do. I want my rewards. Blizzard makes more then enough money... that they can follow through on promised rewards of their promotions.
