Sorry to say that the dmg is already done.
I suggest you forward your friend to the sticky on top:

Account Hacked? Security Issue? Look Here!

He should take this time to make sure his computer is secure.
Once secure, follow the directions in the sticky to regain access to the account.

There is not much the GMs here can do without the verified owner informing them of the issue.
