People missing realm first achievement

We have 5-6 people that are currently missing the realm first Heroic Lich King achievement tonight. They're all transfers from the past 2 months. I realize that there's a rule in place to prevent guilds from transferring to get the realm first achievement, but this seems like it wasn't the intent. These 5 were legit recruits on a legit server first.

Is there any way they can be awarded the achievement?
