Covering the hacked damage

I'm not going to go into detail about the hack, yes it was compromised, awhile ago. Multiple times and now the account will not be opened under any circumstances. With two 80, a small amount for some, I felt very depressed. All that effort... Mostly. I'm wondering if there is anyway I can get those two back or more. Or at the very least have access to the names since I'm starting on a new account. I bought the expansions, again. So I can have 80s. One of them means a lot considering I've had him since a month after classic release. I'm just really being optimistic right now in an otherwise hopeless situation. Can Blizzard help in another way than opening my account?

Accounts are usually not closed because they were compromised, even repeatedly. They are usually closed due to exploitative behavior that can not be verified as occurring while compromised.

If the account was closed I'm afraid any character that was on it will not be recoverable, that is the point of closing the account, it is the consequence for violating our Terms of Use to that degree.

Are you certain you are clear on what happened with the account, Zultek? If you provide the name and realm of a character on the account I can take a look. Though I am limited in what information I can provide I'll give you what recommendations I can.

Honestly that is an odd response to get after your first dispute, so though I can not guarantee the results it wouldn't be a bad idea to contact Account Administration and ask for another look.
Q u o t e:

And can an authenticator be moved to another account?

Authenticators can be used on multiple accounts if you wish, Zultek, you don't need to remove it before placing it on another.

And what about the character's names?

In certain circumstances a name may be released to be used by another character. If your appeals fail and you the closure is upheld you may want to try an submit a petition and inquire about getting the name. Though I can't guarantee that it will be possible it never hurts to ask.
