Confused on Real ID

I keep sending emails to my friends so we can do the Real ID and some of them get it and some of them do not. However Real ID does say the friend request was sent, however it seems they do not get it. Is there anyway to tell if you sent it to the right email, and what happens if you send it to the wrong one? Is it automatically deleted or just sits there?

Q u o t e:

Alright so now my last question is if the email address doesn't exist, Real ID just pretty much acts like it doesn't exist and deletes ir or is it floating around in CYBER SPACE?!

Do you mean to ask if that invite remains valid should someone create the email address in question? If so, the answer is no. If you did accidentally send an invitation to the wrong email address, it would be sent and received as normal, though. Ultimately, it's probably best to be certain of the email addresses that you are sending friend requests to, so as to avoid such a conflict.
