Security concern

I have a question for a blue.
My account was recently compromised and I have now regained control of it. Kudos btw to the Blizzard team, they suspended my account and I was back in control within 2 days, so many thanks there.

However, I have (as so many others with compromised accounts have) lost most of my gear, currency, bag/bank items, items in the mail, etc.
I've submitted an in game petition to a GM to have my items returned to me which will hopefully be done soon, but I wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding this issue, and I didn't have enough space to write it in the in game request.

Firstly, the rude person who hacked my account, henceforth known as ****wit, created a character on my account... Should I delete their character, or could the existance of the character assist in any investigative procedures the GM's will be undertaking to return my stuff?

Secondly, ****wit's character has 2 friends... One of them is a lvl 80 character who I suspect has assisted them with the heinous crime. How can I best report this?

Thirdly, and most worrying... ****wit's other friend is not actually their friend... It's my friend. It's a realID friend that I set up a couple of days beforehand. And now I have a major security issue, because ****wit knows my realID friends full name, and who knows what other information?? It should be noted that my friend is not at all impressed. So my question for part 3 is what information is accessable via realID friends??

Thanks and I appreciate any assistance

Really, security on your end - and restoration on ours is what this is all about at this point.

One reason these can take awhile is we DO go over what was done (and with whom) and try to undo as much damage as possible.

If you'd like to delete that character, feel free, we'll still be able to see it.

I wouldn't worry about the 'friend', we'll see them too :)
