Greetings,

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns about Real ID. We've given a great deal of consideration to the design of Real ID as a company, as gamers, and as enthusiastic users of the various communication and social-networking services that have become available in recent years, and we've made these design decisions with our long-term vision for the service in mind.

You can modify Real ID access and features, such as "Friends of Friends", within your Battle.net Account Management at http://us.battle.net/. Additonally, Real ID can be managed from within Parental Controls at http://us.battle.net/parents.

Its a legit email, But I can't seem to find the options where I can turn off friends of friends. Could someone else tell me where the option is, because I have looked four times, on two different days now. And I can't seem to find it.
Perhaps I'm just blind, Has anyone got a link? (Not talking about parental controls, Read the quote).

It is legitimate, Scentless, but a very very early version of that email.

That particular portion has since been edited. I am very sorry if there was any confusion on that part.

At the moment at least, the friend of friend cannot be disabled separately.
