Please keep Real ID conversations to one thread: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=25712374700&sid=1

Why? Keeping it to one thread condenses all the backlash and complaints you're getting into one unreadable mass of banter. The response Blizzard has received is indicative of the controversy of its announcement. If the company wishes to create an environment in which its players are content and supportive, and especially one in which player feedback is considered, it would be wise to allow players to voice their concern. While I realize that there is a designated thread for the issue, when there are over 8500 responses no one can expect a coherent and mature discussion to spring from such an amalgamation of thoughts. When such a radical change is enacted (or at least announced), I highly suggest allowing players to discuss its various points through various threads.

Again, trying to condense all responses in one thread is the antithesis of productive. If Blizzard's forum mods put as much work into banning and locking the hateful views expressed here in the last 5 years as they put into locking the threads today, this change would never have been needed in the first place.

I know that this is a subject that has a lot of our community very concerned. Please keep in mind that spamming the front few pages with the same subject is equally unproductive.
