What's with all the key loggers? I take my authenticator off my account for a few hours so I can switch it to my Droid's Authenticator Application and when I return I am already hacked? ALREADY?

This is the second time this has happened. Before if I told them my correct information they would remove any Authenticator I did not put on my account.

Now, I wait on the phone for an hour to hear them say "What's your email? Ok. We are having this problem with a lot of people. We'll get back to you"

Then I find out that in order to get my account back they want me to send in my Birth Certificate!?
To make sure it's really me!?

A. What of the people who used FAKE names on their accounts?

B. If something as simple as a Birth Certificate gets into the wrong hands your life can be screwed.

So basically I don't get my account back?
All that money I spent on you guys?
Your just gonna let a Key Logger keep my account?

I told you my email, my name, my security questions and in order to get the authenticator that I did not put on my account off I'll have to send extremely personal information such as a real ID or Birth Certificate?
I'm praying to god I can find away around this.
If not?
All I can do is laugh.......and throw up.

This is a protection, Misú. You already trusted us with your personal information when you registered for an account, and identity verification is a necessary step in this process. If you are unable or unwilling to verify that you are the registered owner of the account, then it will not be returned to you.

I should note that this is not standard procedure in the wake of an account compromise. Identity verification becomes necessary only in particular circumstances, such as when the ownership of an account is in dispute.

Would a picture of a valid drivers license be acceptable?

A fax or e-fax of your valid government issued identification should be acceptable in most cases. I am unaware of the particulars of the situation that you are facing, so I'm not in a position to state particulars though.

The email you were sent should provide precise instructions.
