I recently purchased a new computer and am going through the process of downloading and installing WoW. I had thought how easy it would be if some computers came loaded with WoW ready to play... thoughts?

I have a USB drive that I've dubbed my World of Warcraft thumbdrive. Every so often I copy my full WoW folder over to it so I keep it updated. When/if I need to reinstall it's just as simply as copying it over.

World of Warcraft doesn't require any sort of installation process as far as I've ever seen. Dragging the game folder around wherever you like works quite well.

So... everyone should pat you down for a thumbdrive at Blizzcon?

And the visuals will likely haunt me for the rest of the day...

Thank you.

Cheap 32GB flash drives are around $65? I think I got mine on sale a while ago for around that. Not that crazy, and I have enough room to store my other junk.
