Waited 4 days for this?

A few days ago, I raided ICC 25 with my guild and some PuGs. Upon killing Saurfang, a Vanquisher tier token dropped and was rolled on. I rolled a 99, if I remember correctly and won the item. When the loot Master tried to loot the item to me, I wasn't on the loot table for some reason, so he looted it to himself in hopes he could trade it to me in the other room. He's a shaman by the way, with no reason in the world to take a Vanq token, and he's one of my closest friends. He tries to trade it to me and it doesn't work which is a bummer because I seem to never get lucky with rolls on anything.. Lol. So we both put in a ticket in. We wait a few days, nothing. finally, we see our ticket has been escalated. Good news! So I wait another day, I log on today to an incredibly long email from a GM that basically said that he/she searched through raid chat during that raid I.D. and didn't find anything concerning loot rules in them... When we went over loot rules in vent after telling everyone that no vent meant no loot. I also remember someone putting a basic guideline of loot rules in raid chat as well. But even if they didn't, this situation had nothing to do with loot rules or loot scamming or anything of that nature. Because I walked through the door into the Upper Spire before the chest was looted, a common and well known issue that has been happening to people (that I didn't know about until it happened to me), a shaman gets to vendor a rather valuable piece of loot that I am entitled to. Needless to say, I'm rather upset by this..

You guys have never let me down before. Normally, every ticket I have is resolved, etc. and I've been nothing but happy here in the five long years that I've played. But this doesn't make sense. I could understand if the reason for not getting me the item made sense at all... but loot rules? Really? If I could have this explained to me, I would be much appreciative. Thank you for any and all help you can give me about this.

The character is Nuriko on Proudmoore. The item in question is a Vanquisher's Mark of Sanctification looted from Deathbringer Saurfang and the raid I.D. is 44548596. Thanks.

EDIT: Lol, he got the same response. It kinda makes me wonder if this was even looked into. =/

It looks like there was a bit of confusion regarding these matters. From what I can see it is being looked into and it should hopefully be resolved fairly soon.

Autoanswers? No, I'm sorry that we do not do. There may be times when we reply in mass to issues that are causing a high volume of petitions. Especially when the answer is essentially the same. For example an issue that was experienced awhile back that was caused by a particular addon. In that case we rounded up all the petitions related to it and provided advice on how to resolve the issue.

As much as we would like to speak to each and every person that is not always the best course of action nor is it truly needed.

I have gottin this ticket reply a while back

"Hello!

Sorry to catch you offline! I just wanted to let you know what we look for in situations such as this.

With that particular message, Elfrick, it may have been that the display showed that you were offline, this happens from time to time. It's usually a matter of timing, if you were zoning (entering a new area and were on a loading screen, etc...) you may appear to be offline when your issue is pulled by the Game Master.

Y'know, I always wondered if that was the case or not. Nice to see that confirmed!

It doesn't always do that, sometimes it's just the tool being uncooperative. In most cases it will update and show that you are online and which character, which is how it is supposed to work but there are times when it just goes fzzzt!
