My account was hack

They were still in the account, so I asked this be locked down for your protection.

It is vital you find the source of the security breach allowing them access to your password and ID before asking this be unlocked.

I'm going to speak for a moment on Blossoms behalf, so let me try to clarify the situation. Blossoms, unknowingly, responded to an account phishing scam and had her account info stolen. She managed to change her password before any real harm was done, however it seems her character has been looted (judging from the armory page) and the scammer has added an authenticator to prevent login. I don't believe her computer security is compromised, however I do believe that we have a misunderstanding as to who was in control of the account at the time of closure.

That's entirely possible, but if someone reports and active compromise and it looks like they are still online doing mischief, we will lock an account down for the player's protection.

That actually isn't terribly hard to get reversed. The email that gets sent just needs responded to.

Just to clarify, does this start the account restoration process or will this just turn the account back on?

It will unlock the account. You'll still want to put in a petition asking a restoration investigation be started.
