The wait time to talk to a GM is outrageous, I was recently hacked and I've been waiting for a GM response so I can start playing again and it has been over a week. I have to log in and just sit there on a level 1 waiting for a GM to talk to me. Even if I have wow running in the background while I browse the internet or do something else it is still very annoying knowing I have to be on my computer even if I dont want to, to get my characters back. That would be fine if it took half a hour to talk to a GM like it used to, but it doesn't. This is very fristraing. Please hire more GMs!

I believe Syndri's post addresses the main subject of this thread. Regardless this is not the place. We have already expressed that we are not only hiring but endeavoring to make adjustments to how we are contacted and working to reduce wait times.

Posts that simply re-iterate the original point do not add to the conversation. Nor does comparing outdated information.

Slye, your original petition submitted around 4 days ago reporting the compromise was forwarded already. Please note that compromise investigations are currently around 8-10 days, you will be contacted with the results of your investigation via your registered e-mail address.

I feel it also important to note that we have policies surrounding restoration requests for a reason. We understand that there are times when a player may make a mistake or other error in judgment, such as deleting their characters because they want to quit and change their mind. In such cases we can usually provide restoration of those characters.

It is best to be honest in reporting an issue as we are able to tell much of what was done, when and how and a compromise investigation is a bit different from a normal restoration request. If the account was not compromised but the deletion of the characters were done by the players own actions or a siblings, etc... that may delay our ability to assist since the original request would be denied for lack of compromise evidence.

Q u o t e:
Hmm... did you mean to unlock this thread when you added your post to it?

Yes. I don't generally like to lock threads if I can avoid it. I temporarily locked it so I could reply without the argument continuing. If a civil discussion can not be managed beyond this point I'll lock it back up. The purpose of the forums though is for players to discuss aspects of the game with other players. There are a number of people who have a great deal of insight into queue times and the number of changes that we have made over the years. I hope that such information can be shared without calls of fanboi's and the like. :)
