Password Reset, ticket not found

HI,

I was hacked last week, a fake authenticator was added to my account, and I had so much difficulty proving my identity and all that I only finally got the account back last night. First thing I do? Change my password, no problem there. I tried to change my email address, couldn't do it because I cannot remember the answer to the secret question (that is why I had to prove my identity in order to take the fake authenticator down)

Everything was ok so far, I logged in and filled in a ticket to retrieve all my gear/money/stuff on my characters.

Now, as I try to log in to go buy myself a real authenticator, it tells me my password is wrong. I check my emails, sure enough there is an email telling me my password has been reset. 30 min after I changed it myself. So I click on the link that says '' to reset the password follow this link''. I get to Battlenet, it says ''Ticket not found'' and I cannot actually set up a new password.

Neither my old or new password work now and I can't set up another one. This is getting really frustrating. I followed all the steps and procedures to get my account back, and now for some reason I lost again? Please help.

I am sorry this has been so confusing, Milou.

You do need to be VERY careful for phishes. Sometimes they even use our 'real' emails and doctor the links to go to other places.

I suspect the last password reset that was genuine was from us. This is a normal part of a compromise investigation and you do have one open.

I've just asked a fresh one be sent to you. There are really two kinds, sounds like the one you got simply expired (providing that was a legitimate email).

Please do check your email in the next few minutes and see if you can access your account with the fresh one.
