I upgraded from a trial account to a paid subscription 2 days ago.

I am aware that it takes up to 72 hours for all the restricions to be lifted. However, I still have a level 20 cap on my character, I was told that the cap was instantly removed.

please help, thanks

From what I can see, Rebane, you have two accounts bound to your Battle.net account. It looks like instead of upgrading this account you created a new one.

This one would be listed as Wow1, which is a trial. Wow2 is a fully upgraded account.

From here you have a couple of options. You can play the second account creating a new character, if you want the name of this character you'll need to delete it so the name becomes available.

Or, you can contact our Billing and Account Services. They should be able to help "reassign" the upgrade to the appropriate account. Please note that call volume are rather high so getting through may require a bit of persistence. They are addressing what issues they can as quickly as possible though so keep trying. It some times takes a bit of luck but you should eventually be able to get through.

You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) 7AM-8PM (PST/PDT) for live representation.
Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.
