Real ID issue

I'm posting on behalf of one of my friends about an issue she has with Real ID.

The problem is she doesn't have it. It doesn't show up at all, apparently she still has the old friend system still. She opened a ticket and waited 4 days, however she didn't get a response so she canceled it.

So I was wondering if any blue post would be able to shed some light on the situation.

Edit: She has the button next to the chat window that opens up the social window. And the names on her friends list show their status (Green for available etc). How ever she is missing the Pending tab next to ignore and the window to add new friends is exactly like the old one.

She may have Parental Controls set, Tehdubster. Have her check out the following thread.

If you can provide a character name and realm I can check to see if Parental Controls are set but I will not be able to change them. She needs to do that herself or contact Billing and Account Services to have them changed.

Nope, it doesn't appear that she has Parental Controls engaged.

With the information you edited into the original post I think it may be important to ask something else. Has she tried resetting her User Interface?

It is possible that her UI is running an outdated addon or perhaps there is a corrupted file.

If she could check out the following link and follow the instructions for her particular operating system.

She may also want to check her Interface options under the Battle.net option and make sure Real ID Friend Requests is checked.
