Mobile auth q?

A guildie of mine uses the iPhone auth app. He dropped his poor phone in water, with work he's had difficulty getting thru to blizz via phones. Is there any alternative for him?

Indeed, and while getting through via telephone may be a bit of a challenge lately, please let your friend know that it is still possible to get through. It may take some patience and persistence, but use of the redial feature should win the day. That is also probably the fastest method to obtain some help with this situation.
