Don't give out my real name, please.

Regarding the appalling change Neth described ( http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=25626109041&sid=3000 ), I'd like to make a formal request:

Don't give out my name.

I have Battle.net and RealID. I haven't given out my e-mail to anyone nor have I accepted any friend requests. I'm very guarded about security, hacking, my identity, etc. I don't want people Googling my name looking for my publications finding my on-line recreational activities. I don't want hackers finding my name and my e-mail (I have one e-mail that's required to be visibly associated with my name on-line) so that they can try phishing attacks. I want my on-line fantasy role playing to remain on-line fantasy role playing, not "hey, it's Timmy from the forums!"

If you say "this is the way it has to be for Cataclysm", fine, whatever, I'll stop using the boards.

But I've got lots of posts archived on your system, spread out across multiple accounts (including a few deleted toons, if I recall correctly). There's no way I can go back and delete those messages.

If this change goes through and the forums are retrofitted, I will have absolutely no control over my information. You'll be giving it out against my will. Please, don't do this.
