Authenticator broken need help

Actually, while the phone lines are busy, with some patience and persistence you should still be able to get through. Redialing repeatedly, rather than calling at random times should help.
Alternatively, since you have your serial number, you could try emailing instead. It may take a few days to receive a response via email though, so it would be best to exercise that option if you are willing to wait a bit, or if calling isn't an option.
