Anything not currently live on the beta test realms is considered a work in-progress and subject to change. It'd be much more useful for players to discuss the content and gameplay they're seeing being discussed on the beta forums (features actually implemented) than to debate reverse-engineered or data-mined content pulled from the depths of the beta client's game files and posted on a third-party site for all to see.

Each new build released to the beta test realms will contain incomplete features or content. Discussing such things will mostly just end up being misleading. This is why we ask that, while the NDA on the beta has been lifted, players continue to adhere to the EULA and forum Code of Conduct and not discuss or link to data-mined content. Thanks.

WUT?

It's against the EULA to link to sites that do a better job at promoting the game and explaining new content then the actually maker of the game? Weird......

I always assumed that since the data was made available to be mined, Blizzard didn't have a problem with it being shared.

With the NDA being lifted, it's not a violation for sites to partake in such practices. The issue is that posting a bunch of data-mined material sometimes lacks any sort of context and can lead to a lot of confusion.

Troll forms are absolutely legit in every way.

EVERY

WAY

I don't mean to suggest that the art was not actually taken from the beta game files. As we are in beta though, all things are subject to change and not necessarily finalized. I'm only suggesting that player feedback remains constructive and people do not focus too much attention on what has been data-mined, as if it's absolutely the content you'll see implemented when the expansion is released.

@ Zarhym, "legit" is slang for cool.

Wow. Sometimes I need to be reminded how uncool I am.
