How did you become a wow player?

My uncle got me started, so I was a little iffy from 1-10 but after that I was hooked. Quit about 3 times in the 2 and 1/2 years I have been playing.
I have my 80 warrior, and alts of all classes.

So how bout your guys?

I think the final "hook" for me was when I saw one of my friends leveling in Stranglethorn Vale. I remember thinking to myself, "This is raddest, most colorful game I've ever seen." Even though I was very familiar with the Warcraft franchise, having played all the games in the series, I was still floored with how beautiful and epic the World of Warcraft looked.

I picked up a boxed copy that weekend and it's been a blast ever since. I've even been able to get my mom and, just recently, my grandmother hooked, too. :)
