You will need to contact Billing to get this removed so you can add the new one. If you have the serial number, this process is usually easier :)

I just want to give you a word of caution on jailbroken iPhones. If your iPhone is jailbroken and backed up to your PC it is possible that malware can literally lift the entire thing and 'copy' it. That isn't a flaw in the authenticator, it's because jailbreaking removes the security precautions to prevent this from happening.

Q u o t e:

Yep, very remotely possible, but that would require my computer getting compromised tho. Im very peculiar about my computer, so much so friends dont even ask me if they can use it because im right over thier shoulder most of the time. Its not them i dont trust, its the internet i dont trust lol.

Anyways, ok, ty for letting me know its not any easy one like if you catch a compromise literally in progress.

One last question? When i emailed billing, i gave character, realm, mobile authenticator serial (the one i forgot to remove), and the serial from my keychain authenticator (in case they can see history, or needed it, etc), and i sent it from my registered email address. Was there anything else i should have included?

This would be quicker on the phone, but that does sound like everything they need. Done by mail, this will take considerably longer.

And yes, removing a 'legitimate' authenticator is a bit more challenging. That's primarily because they'd totally be circumvented if there was an 'easy' way to remove a good one :)
