Need Help Please!

Hello, I was recently playing the trial for World of Warcraft because I was referred by a friend. We got triple experience and I got to level 20. Since the trial doesn't go past level 20, I decided to upgrade my account. Apparently I clicked the wrong thing and I ended up making another account for Wold of Warcraft with the same battle.net name and email. I need help, I meant to upgrade my current account not make a new one. I have also noticed that when I log into the game this new account I made that only shows in Manage Games does not appear on the actual game. So did I just pay $19.99 for nothing? All kinds of help will be greatly appreciated.
