Authenticator not working

Hello all,

Just got home from work. Trying to login to my account and I keep getting a message saying my information is incorrect. I thought at first maybe my password was changed, but I did a password reset and tried logging in again to get the same error. I can log into the forums with my changed password but anything that requires my authenticator code is not working.

Is anyone else with an authenticator experiencing a similar issue? I don't think my account has been compromised because the only password change request I received to my email was the one I initiated when I first couldn't log in.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to contact billing to get it unlocked like the message said but it figures that they are too busy and can't accept anymore calls.

Guess I will just sit here and keep paying money to wait for an email response...

Also is this going to be a common thing? Will I have to remove my authenticator if I want to play because some jackass knows my email address?


Try this now if you would, Sareeh.

These will lock up with too many attempts. If you know YOU didn't make them, someone else may be trying. If that is the case, I'd recommend changing your email address. With Battle.net that also changes your account name :)

One thing with the authenticator, if you have a typo and an invalid login attempt - wait till the number changes on your authenticator. Those are only good once even if the number hasn't yet cycled to the next. That really only takes a few seconds.
