Changing Bnet account email in Q for restore

Just a small question, hopefully a Blue can help me.

I was recentlly hacked for the first time in nearly 6 years of playing on june 20th and have cleaned and tripled checked everything on my PC and it has no viruses or malware and I changed my password immediately.

The question I have is I know my account email is in que to let me know when my Items and gold will be restored on my toons, is it safe to change my account email now and still learn when my toons have been restored? Or should I change it and add my new authenticator once my items/gold are recovered to the existing email?

The last thing i want to do is mess things up by changing emails or worse yet having this happen again.

It should be fine to add your authenticator at the very least.

Changing the email should also be fine if this is already in process.
